Drinking-water supply

In special projects in high alpine mountain areas, where a fail-safe drinking water supply plays an important role at mountain resorts and research stations, our HYDROWATT high-pressure pumps are used with great success. In this case, the drinking water is pumped up from the valley below, without intermediate pumping stations, in a pressure line to appropriate water reservoirs on the summit/resort. Depending on the length of the pipeline and the difference in altitude, pressures of around 200 bar have been required sofar.
